While Delving into the intricacies of Bharatanatyam with the short but impactful mentorship of Guru. Maalika Panicker in Singapore , Shyama cultivated a profound devotion to the practice and performance of Mohiniyattam in the following years. Armed with a postgraduate degree in Bharatanatyam, Shyama’s artistic journey embodies a harmonious fusion of dedication and talent, exemplified by her captivating performances on esteemed stages across the Netherlands and her involvement in diverse productions.
In 2015, inspired by a vision to impart the richness of Indian classical dance to enthusiasts in the Netherlands, Shyama founded the Natanam Academy of Dance and Arts. From its humble inception, the academy has flourished, establishing branches in Amstelveen and Eindhoven.
